The all screen smartphone with new slider feature, known as Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, is the future of smartphones. The selfie camera is exposed by manually sliding the display down. The dual front camera and serval camera are both contained by sliding mechanism, which makes smartphone heavier and thicker comparing to average smartphones. Its OLED displays are copied from Samsung, making this all screen smartphone worth the mention.
Mi Mix 3’s 19:5:9 format has a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It has 10GB of RAM. Active fingerprint sensor is included on the back side of the smartphone. It has a option for the wireless charging system via electromagnetic induction, known as Qi charging. Resolution of a dual main camera is 12 MP each.
Design
Xiaomi made a full 100% screen to body ratio thanks to „hidding“ front camera inside a slide up section. It is using magnetic king, a neodymium iron boron permanent magnet, to create a magnetic power rail design which contains slider in the middle of the slide rail.
Average smartphone’s life of the slider screen can range up to 100,000 times, while Mi Mix 3‘s can range up to 300,000. When purchasing Xiaomi, you also get a 10W wireless charging pad in box and an 18W fast charging wired USB-C adapter. High tolerance along sliding display and amazing mechanism are what are combined in this new smartphone.
Camera
Primary dual camera with dual 12 megapixel senor with 4 axis OIS and 2x lossless optical zoom is what will provide you with amazing photos on Mi Mix 3. The dual front-facing cameras: a 24MP f/2.2 main lens and 2MP depth sensor that enables portrait mode and similar selective-focus photography, is reached once you slide down the screen. Facial recognition to unlock the phone will be included in some of the future updates.
Price
The price of Mi Mix 3’s entry model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is $474 (approx. Rs). Comparing to Apple’s, Samsung’s or Huawei’s top phones’ prices, Xiaomi’s price comes cheaper for the good smartphone you get.
The price of Mi Mix 3’s model with 10GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is $719 (approx. Rs). This is still less than the latest Huawei’s base models. You can purchase Mi Mix 3 from gearbest website.
